“I don’t have time to go to the gym.”

“I can’t go to the gym because I don’t have a babysitter.”

“It’s too cold - I don’t like sweating then walking out into frigid air.”

“There are too many germs at a public gym.”

“I don’t feel comfortable exercising in front of other people.”

“I can’t afford a gym membership.”

If you have ever said anything like these before, then you need to create a gym workout space at home WITH NO MORE EXCUSES!

Exercise is important for your health.

Exercise helps to manage your weight.

It reduces blood pressure.

It reduces the risk of Type II diabetes.

It helps you burn off energy so you sleep better.

It helps to reduce stress.

And, it is FUN!

You don’t need a ton of equipment at home. You just need some basics.

Here is my recommended list - you can get these on Amazon through my website so you don’t have to figure out where to go or which product to trust

  1. Exercise/Yoga Mat - you need this so you don’t sweat all over your carpet, tile, or wood floor ($16)
  2. Resistance bands - a great way to add resistance for low-impact and low-load on joints; you will get maximum tension at the end range of movement and less resistance in the beginning range of movement; the resistance changes ($25)
  3. Hand weights - another great way to add resistance; you will get the same amount of resistance or weight through the entire range of movement; the resistance is constant ($37)

There you have it! For a one-time fee of less than $90, you have yourself a personal home gym that doesn’t take up that much space and allows you the freedom to exercise when you want without leaving your home!

Not sure what to do once you have your gym set-up? No worries!
