Your business should be a blessing not a curse.
Your business should bless your patients and guests + your family.
Your business should serve your community in a way that no one else is doing.
Dare to be different.
Dare to be bold.
Dare to care so much that your patients and clients become your extended family.
Does this sound like your business right now?
Do you desire for your business to be a blessing to those around you and yourself?
Do you know what you want your business to look like?
Or, have you lost sight of your vision and mission and seem to just keep spinning your wheels?
I can totally relate.
I’ve made a lot of mistakes yet I’ve had a lot of successes throughout my career too
When I worked for a hospital system as a Supervisor, I started an outpatient physical therapy clinic for them and grew that clinic from 0 patients with 0% productivity to a fully booked schedule at 110% productivity.
When I worked for a private practice group as a Director, I grew a clinic from 29 visits per month to 90+ visits per week.
I ventured out on my own in 2015 and failed miserably. I wasted a lot of time and money. I helped a lot of people with my physical therapy skills but my business skills were pitiful. In fact, I started to transition my brick and mortar clinic to an online business with telehealth in May of 2019. My plan was to apply to teaching positions and work part-time or full-time at a school or university + do telehealth as a hobby business.
The only problem was that schools weren’t hiring for the fall semester. Those positions were already filled.
What did I do?
I went back to what I knew. I started asking questions and really diving into what had made me successful in the past when I had started clinics for other people. Then, I re-assessed why I failed when I ventured out on my own. I asked myself tough questions and discovered real solutions. I knew I could re-launch my business and I knew exactly what I needed to do to win this time.
So, on December 19, 2019, I re-launched my brick and mortar private outpatient physical therapy clinic. In January 2020, my first full month after a holiday, I started with 23 visits per month. In February, I had 25 visits per month. In March 2019 even with the quarantine of COVID-19 in effect, I doubled my visits to 50 visits per month. And, yes, I had a dip in April with the quarantine still in effect but I still had 35 visits that month - that’s 10 more visits than my 2nd month of re-launching my business! Other clinics were closing yet between 3/15/2019 to 4/26/2020, I gained 8 new patient evaluations!
Now, if you’ve been part of a large clinic or organization, these numbers may not sound that impressive. But if you’re a solo practitioner like me whose first launch on my own in August of 2015 had 3 total visits in the first month, you can understand why I celebrated with 23 visits my first month of my re-launch. I was more than 7x more successful with my re-launch in January 2020 than my initial launch in 2015!
How did I double my patient visits in my 3rd month of business during a quarantine?
How did I still have more patient visits in my 4th month compared to my 2nd month when other PT practices were closing due to the quarantine?
How was I able to create trust and confidence with 8 new patient evaluations in the midst of a global health scare?
I was winning because I chose to adjust. I decided to pivot from what I had done to what I needed to do to keep my business moving forward. And more importantly, I continued to serve the people who entrusted me to care for them.
I had clarity.
I had focus
I had purpose.
Do you need clarity about where you want your business to go?
Do you struggle with focusing and taking action on your ideas?
Do you know how to prioritize your time to maximize your time?
Are you trying to grow yet seem stuck in the muck?
If you said “Yes” to any of these questions, then we share a lot in common. I used to be you.
I used to spin my wheels.I used to be busy yet not get anything done.
I used to work and work and work and not have any fun.
And that’s why I am now on a mission to help small businesses start or re-launch their business with a step-by-step plan so they can grow and thrive with less fear and financial worry. I made a lot of costly mistakes early in my entrepreneurial journey and I am obsessed with helping other small businesses find clarity, focus, and purpose so they can achieve their goals and beyond.
I don’t want ANY business to waste time and money trying to grow their dream.
I want to know what your biggest struggles and challenges are in your business because I want to help you create solutions to fix those problems.
I’ve seen a lot in my 5 years as an entrepreneur. I have failed, reset, pivoted, and re-launched
Now I am winning and I want you to win too
